Strong convergence of an iterative algorithm for accretive operators and nonexpansive mappings

In this paper, an iterative algorithm for finding a common point of the set of zeros of an accretive operator and the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping is considered in a uniformly convex Banach space having a weakly continuous duality mapping. Under suitable control conditions, strong convergence of the sequence generated by proposed algorithm to a common point of two sets is estab...

Strong convergence theorem for finite family of m-accretive operators in Banach spaces

The purpose of this paper is to propose a compositeiterative scheme for approximating a common solution for a finitefamily of m-accretive operators in a strictly convex Banach spacehaving a uniformly Gateaux differentiable norm. As a consequence, the strong convergence of the scheme for a common fixed point ofa finite family of pseudocontractive mappings is also obtained.

Strong Convergence of Iterative Schemes for Zeros of Accretive Operators in Reflexive Banach Spaces

We introduce composite iterative schemes by the viscosity iteration method for finding a zero of an accretive operator in reflexive Banach spaces. Then, under certain differen control conditions, we establish strong convergence theorems on the composite iterative schemes. The main theorems improve and develop the recent corresponding results of Aoyama et al. 2007 , Chen and Zhu 2006, 2008 , Jun...

Strong Convergence for Accretive Operators in Banach Spaces

This paper introduces a composite iteration scheme for approximating a zero point of accretive operators in the framework of uniformly smooth Banach spaces and the reflexive Banach space which has a weak continuous duality map, respectively. Our results improve and extend results of Kim, Xu and some others. AMS Mathematics Subject Classification (1991): 54H25, 47H10
